Travels with Sully

December 5, 2013

Our Sully, he’s a road dog. Since he came to us as a puppy in 2005, he has logged more than 80,000 miles in the camper. He’s crossed the country to California twice. Been to Key West, the fence in San Diego, the Olympic Peninsula and way down east in Maine. He loves New Orleans, St. Louis and Austin.

A few weeks ago the three of us began our fifth year on the road, and he has asked us to share a few pictures of him visiting fabulous and historic sites. While he is quite literate, his paws don’t work that well on the keyboard and Dragon Dictate doesn’t recognize “Woof.”

Here are a few highlights from his travels.

Early on, as just a little fellow,  when he first visited Acadia National Park, he discovered his love for the sea.

...and of course, continuing his role as one of the three judges who evaluates the food we eat.

Go Sully...miss you

I just think the poor dog has had five years of sensory overload. He looks totally confused! Give him a rest -- a dog spa perhaps, or an expensive resort with lots of ocean sounds....

Hope to see you soon!
